Obviously Xavier is focused whole heartedly on today’s matchup, but I was curious what this run might mean for next year’s team.
“It is gonna boost our confidence as far as being able to compete with the ‘power conferences.’ I think our team is obviously focused on staying in the moment, and foucusing on UCLA. I know that making this Tournament run will help our recruiting status. But for now we are just focused on beating UCLA and advancing to the Final Four.”
The rescruits that Jackson might be alluding to are Ari Stewart, Durand Scott, and Terrance Shannon of the class of 2009 who are still uncommitted.
